Fellowship, Friendship, Sharing... Join our CYO.

Here at Saint Ignatius, we have an active youth group, called the Catholic Youth Organization, or CYO. It is primarily for faith formation students in grades 5 through 10, but is open to anyone in 5th grade and up.

We elect at least two representatives from each clase every fall to attend out monthly meetings which are held from 6:45 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on the first Wednesday of every month in the church basement. At the meetings, we discuss and plan the activity for that month and upcoming months.

We hold an average of one activity each month. These activities include:

• Skiing
• Rock-climing (indoors)
• YMCA lock-ins
• Valleyfair trips
• Minnesota Twins baseball games
• Bowling
• Swimming
• Canoeing
• Paintball
• Sno-tubing
• An afternoon at the movies
• Our annual Club's Choice food fundraiser
• ... other events, suggested by our members

It is our goal that by offering these fun activities in a good Christian setting, we can influence, even in a small way, some of these fine young students into being young christian adults.
