Vacation Bible SchoolSt. Ignatius Catholic Church of Spring Valley held its Vacation Bible School from May 31-June 2 featuring the "Safari Adventure: Discover Jesus the King!" theme. Nearly 40 students attended and had a very fun filled and enjoyable time.Each evening began with group prayer. Afterwards the students were dismissed into classes where they learned Bible stories, had crafts and games, musical sessions, and shared a snack. On the final evening of class, the Vacation Bible School students presented a few musical pieces for the parents, followed by an old fashioned "Ice Cream Social" in the church hall. Most importantly, our students learned about Jesus!
